Note to the fans.

Hello, this is Zephys, Writer/Co-writer of this wonderful little project we’re putting together. Recently, out of boredom, I came across this article by entering “Mother 4 game” into google. It was the 4th or 5th result.

I have quite a bit to say about this. First off, and this isn’t the first time I’ve said it, I love finding things like this. It’s kind of a cool feeling to be big enough that you’re finding articles and multi-page discussions about your project on other sites. Let alone the fact that there’s practically nothing negative said on this particular board.

Beyond this though, is the fact that there are alot of facts that aren’t straight. Unless someone knows something I don’t, Itoi never said that he’d do anything official with a Mother 4, and our 2010 release date is definitely not a guarantee.

There’s more, but you get the idea. In short, if you want to know something about our project, please ask the main staff of Mother 4 if you want the truth. We apologize for any vague or unanswered questions, but that’s how the development of a mother game goes. If you don’t get an answer you’re looking for, feel free to speculate, but do your best not to assume your speculations are correct.

Much love to the fans. Stay in touch people. The way things are going, this game’s bound to surprise alot of people.

On the topic of actual production, we’re making alot of progress. We’re very happy with the storyline at this point, and even have an overworld map put together. We’ve got most of the status effects youll find yourselves dealing with put together, and alot of things of the like are coming together. Thanks for your support.

    Great find Zeph m’boy! Seriously, that made me eager to go finish up some sprites I was working on.

    Oh and I found a question that I took a particular interest in… It was questioning if the game ran as smoothly as it looks, and well, I might as well go ahead and say YES! The game runs at 60FPS and the controls are identical to Mother 3′s. Although there will be new control types exclusive to Mother 4…

    Hey man you might notice me as the person who made the post about your game on TheSpeedGamers forums. And I will have to say I am sorry for getting all the information mixed up. I just finished editing my mistakes on the post. So yes I will contact you if I have any more questions about the game. But I would like to ask you, is there anything on the post you would like to see?

    I have a question about the game, like Mother 3, will there be any returning characters from the other Mother games? Or will we be introduced to a whole new cast?

    Almost every pattern carried out in the Mother series will continue in Mother 4.

    In short, when wondering what something in the game will be like, ask what a nintendo-created Mother 4 would have.

    This is interesting to look at. *huff* Sorry..something new gets me so excited it takes my breath away. No, it’s not seizure nor an asthma attack. But anyways, you sure know the true meaning of ‘dedication’ and the true meaning of the saying of ‘It took blood, sweat, and tears to put this together’. I can’t wait to play it!

    i have an idea for an enemy! its called a sleepy mouse. he looks like the flying mouse from mother 3 but he doesnt have wings and he’s on the ground sleeping with half an eye open. his ability is to sleep and restore health. his attacks are sleep, bite, fall, and pound. please put him in the fan game!
