Fan Submission Page

Hello everyone, this is Zephys informing you of a recently optimized feature. The Fan Submission Page is now up and running. Simply submit your peice of work, and wait for an Admin to approve it. This is actually likely to happen within mere hours of submitting, since one of us is almost always on the site. Submit as much as you can. We appreciate the support. Thank you.

    Hello.

    I’ve just finished making a few mp3s for the fan submission page (six in total).
    All of them are songs I’ve composed on the piano which I feel have a Mother-esque quality to them. The quality’s not great since it was recorded on a headset mic which I practically shoved down the piano, but it’s still very listenable.

    Only problem is most of them are above 3mb (The largest is 5.05mb) which is above your stated limits. Should I try to submit them anyway?

    Hm. Well, seeing as most of the mp3s I’ve got run around 5mb, I suppose it would be best to double the limit for mp3s, and while I’m at it, for swfs as well. I’ll update the pages accordingly.

    You should now be able to submit your music.

    To the leader of the Mother 4 project. (I have no idea where to post this, but I am a fan of the series and project, hence fan submission)

    Greetings

    I am Exdeath64, the Administrator over at the EarthBound wiki. We are committed to being a comprehensive database for the entire Mother series. Now, has you are likely aware, due to being part of Starmen.net, since the release of Mother 3, Itoi has announced he does not plan to continue the series. This presents a serious problem for our wiki, where do we get new content? I pondered this for a while, and eventually, I found my way here.

    I have been following your progress for a while, and after comparing it to some similar fan efforts. You have something different. Your work is professional, original, and quite creative. I have determined that your “Mother 4″ is probably the closest thing we are ever going to see to a continuation of the Mother series, barring Itoi returning, which due to his advanced age is unlikely.

    Anyway, I am rambling. What I am getting at here is that we wish to not only affiliate ourselves with you, but to utilize our resources with the wikia system to add the data from your project to our wiki and to help you in any way we can so that this project reaches fruition. Now, if you are actually interested, feel free to contact me with any questions. If you don’t want to talk to me directly, feel free to track down PikminMaster. He’s my right hand man on the wiki, and can help you if I am unavailable.

    Are the names decided yet? No name rip-offs from the previous games! It would just be strange as if it were a differnt name.

    Sorry this took so long, life reared its ugly head again. Anyway, Pretty much We would just need to know new information once it comes out. Also, we would like to know more details about the staff members and how you operate has a team. Kind of like a “design notes” aspect about what you are working on (Of course, we do not expect to see anything plot relevant or anything you do not want released, just a general outlook on how the project is going.) And I still don’t know where to post this, so sorry I dumped it in here again.

    I got a contact page up and running, so you can use that if you’d like. When someone leaves a message, it emails it to all of us, so someone is bound to reply.

    Also, Ryan9-1, if you mean the names of the characters, they’ve been decided. There’s Chase, Zack, Meryl, Leo and Floyd, and of course, there are NPCs that have been named too. You can see the names of some of the playable characters in the screenshots of the battle system.
